Rooted in the sacred traditions of Sattriya, Partha Pratim Hazarika has been practicing the dance form since childhood. His artistic journey is dedicated to preserving its originality while discovering a unique voice for Sattriya on the modern stage.

While in his Sattriya compositions he focuses on presenting the pure dance through traditional structures and compositions, he is also exploring ways to find a contemporary language rooted in the essence of Sattriya.

He performs both solo and in ensemble works, creating pieces that bridge the classical and the contemporary. Drawing from his deep Sattriya training, Partha composes original choreographies that express timeless spirituality through modern sensibilities.
