Partha Pratim Hazarika’s exploration of theatre began in his childhood through traditional Ankiya Bhaona performances, where storytelling, music, and movement are deeply intertwined. His passion for performance led him to the National School of Drama (NSD), where he was exposed to a wide range of Indian theatrical traditions such as Koodiyattam, Parsi Theatre, and Tamasha, as well as modern and global performance practices.
Over the years, Partha has been involved in more than thirty productions and has collaborated with renowned directors and actors from across the world. Drawing from his traditional training and contemporary sensibility, he continues to develop his own theatrical language — one that emerges from Sattriya movements and elements, reimagined through a modern perspective.
